UPDATED: Now that the RNC is over, the link now points to an archive page where there are separate videos of each speaker, captioned. Check out Zell Miller's speech!
UPDATE II: Captions not yet available, so the page says. Let's see how long it takes them to add it!
It is like telling colored people to drink only warm water, while whites have the cold water. It may be the same thing, but tastes much different. We, the Deaf people, are not able to "taste the ice-cold water" of the ability to watch and *understand* any and all on-line videos. Immediate captioning of *any and all* on-line video media should be required! If a video clip you want to watch is not captioned, there should be a way for you to click a button which will activate a speech recognition program, or contact a live relay operator ("captioner") that will visually display the audio, with no further obstacles to the equality of communication.
