Eureka!
I just realized something at this very moment! While I was caressing
Lola's feathered head, it just occurred that a bird requires *both* its
left and right wings to fly, so does our American
politics! The left-wingers may claim that they are always right, and
ditto for the right-wing "fascists." But in reality, it is a mix of
both, somewhere in the middle. In no other way can the American Golden
Eagle fly majestically and gracefully.
Now I really understand why the Founding Fathers used the eagle as our
symbol. With both the left and right wings spread wide, the bald eagle
flies in freedom, wielding both an olive branch and arrows in its
talons. In defense of its freedom.

As long as both sides understand that it is perfectly allright to have a difference of opinion, we all can live in harmony rather than hating each other based on two bullshit candidates for President. Like Reagan said, being President is all about acting. :)
