    Kerry and the terrorists

It is of utomost importance that we prevent a traitor from becoming President. Harsh, yes, but there is only one day left. Being "AWOL" from a Texas Air National Guard base pales to this kind of accusation Kerry faces. How many accusations have been levied against Bush that directly threatens our national security? his AWOL-ness, proved to be a hoax by CBS? His cocaine use in college days? Laura Bush selling pot? His twins drinking underage with a fake ID? (In Texas, I got my fake ID at 18!) His Christianity?

Now, with Kerry, the accusations are VERY serious, whether true or not. They question his loyalty to this country, simple as that. Now, when you investigate these charges, the evidence you find is complelling and overwhelming. Nothing like that one-page, forged document falsified by CBS NEWS immediately debunked by us bloggers within an hour. AS to this day, the Swift Vets' charges still stand.

WAKE UP, America. Do you really want someone like this as President? This is from Joseph Farah's editorial.

John Kerry says he will hunt down terrorists with the same energy he used to pursue the Viet Cong.

"With the same energy ... I put into going after the Viet Cong and trying to win for our country, I pledge to you I will hunt down and capture or kill the terrorists before they harm us," Kerry said. "And we will wage a war on terror that makes America proud and brings the world to our side."

That would be a pretty funny line if it weren't distinctly possible that Kerry could actually win tomorrow's presidential election.

    Why is it funny?

If they know anything about the way John Kerry conducted himself in Vietnam and afterward, Osama bin Laden and Islamic terrorists are praying to Allah to bring him victory.

Kerry's claim to combat fame in Vietnam is shooting in the back an unarmed, wounded member of the Viet Cong – some eyewitnesses say he was a young teenager.

He won medals for this heroic deed – because he, John Kerry, wrote up the after-action reports.

But while the war was still being waged and brave Americans were risking their lives in ways Kerry never imagined, he came home and championed the Viet Cong cause. He became the Vietnamese Communists' secret weapon. He became their fifth column right here in the United States. He became their tool.

That's the shocking story discovered buried in military archives in Lubbock, Texas, last week by members of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, who have tried to share this vital information with the American people and received little help from a Kerry-supporting media elite.

Kerry not only met twice with the leaders of the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese delegations in Paris in 1971, he actively took their directions for fomenting protests in the United States.

    In other words, he turned.

    He flipped.

    He went over the hill.

    He joined the enemy.

It wasn't that Kerry just did things that pleased the enemy. He took their cues. He did their bidding. He earned that place of prominence on the wall of the "War Crimes Museum" in Hanoi.

John Kerry was a war hero all right – for the Viet Cong.

And now, incredibly, Kerry is citing once again his Vietnam "heroics" as the basis for his resume to lead the war against Islamic terrorists.

I haven't been this shocked by something Kerry said since his "reporting for duty" convention speech.

Of all the things John Kerry could say, why does he keep bringing up Vietnam?

He can't help himself – because Kerry hasn't changed since 1971.

He's the same guy today that he was then – a little richer, a little grayer, but just as treacherous, just as conniving, just as ambitious, just as un-American.

And that's why it's not so funny that Kerry has made this little joke. Perhaps he is sending a message around the world to America's enemies once again. Bin Laden knows what Kerry did in 1971. All of America's enemies know his importance in history is not as a warrior chasing down semi-naked youngsters in black pajamas. His real significance is the damage he did to America's morale at a trying time in history. His real significance is the boost he gave America's enemies in 1971. His real significance is getting away with that kind of treason against his country and leveraging the fame it brought him into a viable presidential candidacy 33 years later.

Tomorrow it's time to turn Kerry into a footnote in American history. Tomorrow it's time to let Kerry know you remember. Tomorrow it's time to sentence him to political oblivion for the crime of treason. Tomorrow it's time put the specter of John Kerry behind us once and for all.

This is flawed opinion and debate for you to use, Jason.

Flipper is normal. Everyone flips. So do you, Hell, you flipped to Republicans from Democrats.

North Vietnam and Al-Qaeda are two big different things to deal with. Vietnam had the right to decide what is good for themselves, like we did with ourselves during the Civil War. North became communism, that is their right -- not yours -- and wanted to unify the south, that is their right -- not yours again.

We meddled and paid the heavy price with dead soldiers.

Perhaps Kerry saw this because it was their right to decide what is the best for themselves. They wanted to rule itself with communism, not democracy. That is their right, they are capable of deciding for themselves. Whether if you like it or not, communism is not necessarily evil.

Now on other hands, Al-Qaeda has no country affilitation -- it is just an organization that retaliated against the American interests. Now, that is a true act of terrorism. I'm certain that Kerry will NOT flip on this subject.

It's simply Ridor's opinion in believing that Jason's opinions are flawed. For somebody to say it's a "flawed opinion" is nothing more than an opinion in itself.

Now, everyone flip flops, sure. But if a person cannot have a certain resolve and strong beliefs and stick with it, at least most of the time, then you wouldn't appear as indecisive. Kerry exhibited that throughout his political career starting with the protests in 1970s. He voted against the Gulf war, voted for the Iraq war but voted against funding troops for that war. He ran the presidential nominee race against the anti-war Dean, and decided to be the anti-war candidate and won the nominee for the DNC, and thusly went back again that he will go to war to fight. Name one thing that's definite about him in his belief when it comes to terrorism. Remember, he cast himself as the anti-war candidate to begin with in a time of war.

Now, as for Communism. In my mind it is a form of evil suppressing creativity; and expression of free ideas, thoughts, will and growths. It prevents people from becoming better for who they are and reaps the rewards of their labor. It’s the same idea that if I work hard and get all A’s in my class, and with communism, or socialism, I must give up my A’s to those who get D’s so their average would come up to a C+ and I would average down to a C+. This is communism. My hard work would not be moot and ignoble.

If I work hard to become that exquisite classical pianist because of my hard work, people will have to pay me to enjoy listening to those riveting and soothing sounds of Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Handel, Schubert, Tchaiskovsky and the likes. But with Communism I am forced to play for free so people can hear the songs for free leaving me no choice on whether to give generously by playing for my songs for free or acquire large payments or royalties for my service as an entertainer.

Creativity is squelched. So is free expression. So are my free ideas and my personal growths that I see fit and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Communism is evil. And when you do not submit to the will of communism, you are forced into it. And whenever you are forced into submission against your free will, then it is evil. So is al-Qaeda. No individual free will on expression.

As for Vietnam, it was Roosevelt who insisted on the prevention of the French return to Vietnam during the 1940s because of the issue of colonialism. He knew that two thousand years of Vietnamese history would not allow such an assimilation. In 1945 after 80 years of French rule, Vietnam became independent. But it wasn’t peaceful. As in a power vacuum, people fought each other. But at the beginning of their “independence” Ho Chi Minh said this in his own native tongue to a crowd of people, believe it or not, and said:

“We hold truths that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, among these are life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

We, the members of the Provisional Government representing the entire people of VietNam, declare that we shall from now on have no connections with imperialist France; we consider null and void all the treaties France has signed concerning VietNam, and we hereby cancel all the privileges that the French arrogated to themselves on our territory.”

But after 9 years, Vietnam became north (communist) and south (anti-communist) Vietnam at the 17th parallel. Essentially becoming two different countries who had nothing to do with each other for about 20 years before the massive campaign from the North to eradicate the south Vietnamese government.

No, it wasn’t the North’s right to invade south Vietnam which was a more democratic-form of government and wanted U.S. help. The U.S. was a big supporter of South Vietnam. This is the very same scenario for Korea with North (communist) Korea and South (democratic) Korea...all because of the U.S. involvement in supporting democracy and stifling communism.

But because of U.S. interest and fear of the spread of communism we went to war to help the South Vietnam govt. Of course, the North won through attrition on making this to be an unpopular war back in the states. But because of the U.S. involvement in the war against communism, the U.S. was still able to influence the outcome of Vietnam a decade later after the fall of Saigon by helping stare down USSR with missiles pointed at them and financially bankrupting the Soviet Empire in the arms buildup. The USSR could no longer support Vietnam in economic assistance. Vietnam was more socialist than communist at that time. They had to make deals with China in helping continue with their economic revivals.

Now, at this point in time, it is now economy and technology that’s helping change political views and ideas, and that China (and Vietnam) are changing how people are to freely express their ideas more openly without much for fear of reprisal. Communism is essentially dead but what’s alive is the strict religiosity of orthodox Islamic-fascist views and ideologies that are on par with communism back in the heydays. Only this is worse because religious extremism of Islam is spreading. This is the new war for the world to take on. Even Europe is seeing that such as France with 20% of their population being Muslims and that more reports of these male French-citizen Muslims are back lashing against females of all types with intimidation and violence.

Sometimes a victory is not so obvious (Vietnam war) considering how it played out 20 – 30 years later. Had we not intervened, Communism would’ve been much more widespread. And because of that, we understand that we, the world, cannot allow terrorist groups such as al Qaeda and we must take the fight to them, which is what President Bush has done. Kerry has not shown any resolve or evidence that he would do this based on his 20 years of political history and pacifism, and going against U.S. troop support. That’s the danger - inaction. If Kerry cannot show up at intelligence meetings for a whole year after 9/11, then why must we put our nation’s security into his hands?
