Great Job! Ya scared me little bit when I saw virtual Jason Lamberton. :) But sheesh, this VLOG's great innovative idea, is it patented? Has intellectual property issues? Better rush before Sorenson eats you up! ha. Anyway, shall be looking forward seeing next VLOG!

Hello Jason -- impressive -- at one point, I chuckled when you said "B--VLOG!"

    HAHAHA.

It is true that this particular building used to be the premise of professional basketball for Washington some decades ago before it was converted into recycling whatmacallit -- my father said that when the ABA games took place, it was difficult to find parking in that area.

I have seen those vlog types before by hearing people. Here is a good example.

Anyway, Jason, congrats on being the first ASL vlogger (well, to me, you are the first I know of)!!! ;) I am curious.. From hosting those vlogs on your website, do you have a work-around solution with your webhost about the bandwidth issue?

I use videorelay.com's media streaming services. No, they do not seem to have anything to do with deaf people, nor VRS. If this becomes popular enough, I will have serious bandwidth issues. Maybe I'll start soliciting ads to pay for the bandwidth, or come up with a better idea (I'm working on it).

Actually, I got this one idea that might be both easy and not so easy. Have you thought about using BitTorrent? If I assume correctly, it won't hog the bandwidth because it uses p2p networking and shares the vlog files over the internet.

they *just* had an article out recently refuting your point(s) of how a successful sports venue doesn't necessarily improve the local economy.. I think it was penned by marc fisher, but i can't be positive.

Jason, have you checked out video.google.com??

You can upload your vlogs here, but you have to register first.

I think all of this is free. Hope that's all helpful news for you! ;) Good luck!

    Jason,

I've experiment with my own "vlog" few months ago using flash-based. I did posted it on my blog site.

Look for yourself: Go to http://grantlairdjr.com/b2evolution/index.php/all/2005/03/18/p190

Again, I think it is great idea but it required webcam and it is not always available when I am blogging like at work or on road.

I hope I can do it more often in near future.

Let me know what you think.

For me, this site will be less of a personal diary and daily pulpit, rather, it will focus strongly on being an e-soapbox for my political issues of concern, and to highlight the technological advances that will uniquely benefit us, the Deaf tribe, and simply a portal for everything else that constitutes the Artist Formerly Known As An Embryonic Stem Cell, Jason C. Lamberton.
