My nascent and growing zoo now consists 3 creatures, and they aren't your typical house pets.

Akhenaten and his mate, Nefertiti are my very special Bengal cats, and Lola is the yellow nape Amazon parrot, and despite the felines' carnivorous nature, they are getting along nicely.

Lola is under training to become an assistance animal. She will be my ears and voice. You read me right. I will train her to understand my sign language and speak on command.

Akhenaten, a native of Arizona, comes from a very distingushed bloodline of Bengal cats. I got him in May 2004, and then came Nefertiti, of noble Texan feline blood, in November 2004.
